Real Simple Solutions

When the tourist season ends in Custer SD, the population rolls back to  give or take, 1980 hardy self reliant souls. Most will bake their own cakes and bread or buy one at the local grocery store. For that really special cake, I will crank up the oven and bake it, reluctantly I might add. Around June, tourist arrive in a steady stream and baking on demand starts once again. I also run the local farmers market (Custer Farmers Market)  where bread, scones, crumpets and other baked goods are for sale.
